Canon Digital IXUS 980 IS Review
May 21, 2009
The Canon Digital IXUS 980 IS / Powershot SD990 IS is a very capable compact digital camera with an impressive 14.7 megapixels output, manual focus, aperture and shutter settings are quite remarkable for it’s sheer light weight and compact design.
Another great highlight is the black colour as the previous models came in sliver. The IXUS 980 IS features a 3.7x optical zoom lens with an impressive image stabilisation, VGA video recording, a 2.5″ LCD screen, and an optical viewfinder with face detection.
All of the above wrapped inside a compact stylish metal body of 96.7 x 62.2 x 27.9mm and weighs a mere 160g which is quite a deal on the table in return for the reasonable price tag of around £260.
